If you've taken high school physics or AP Physics 1: Algebra-Based, the course shouldn't be too hard. Compared to AP Physics 1, the material greatly overlaps except that this course includes fluids & thermodynamics and does not cover circuits. The simple harmonic motion unit probably would be easier after taking differential equations, but otherwise Calc 1 is all that's necessary for the course. Lab and discussion sections are helpful. Like with all physics courses, expect a big grading curve.
