I did this class as an elective for my TCOM/Media major, and I honestly think you'd be better off doing any of the other electives for that part of the major. Maybe it's because I had it online asynchronously, but it was just not interesting or useful to me at all.

It's just mostly reading out of the book and answering questions about them on a word doc, with the occasional project through adobe spark for whatever reason. The actual stuff in the book is mostly just about all about, at least what I think is, the boring parts of the music industry, like revenue generation.
