Very exam heavy, just have good notes. I usually don't like online courses, but this was amazing.

Easy online but I can imagine this is very heavy in person. Lots of things to memorize. So if that’s something you struggle with maybe stay away. Amazing prof!!!

Runtz is a great prof, his lectures are captivating.

Mike Runtz makes this class a good one. He's one of the more entertaining profs at Carleton. You learn about different plants and animals in Ontario, and how they eat, mate and survive. It's all from a high-level point of view, no complex biological stuff. It is a lot of memorization though. You have online tests and then a midterm and exam which are all multiple-choice. He usually would hint at what is important to know though (usually highlights it in red).
