Organic chemistry is a course most people have difficulty with, that being said, this course ruined my mental health and had so many issues. The labs are difficult and long, 10-12 pages informal labs and 20+ pages for formal lab reports. The prelabs are confusing and time consuming. The lecture portion of the course has a very quick pace and tests (2) are worth most of your grade. If you do not need to take the course, just don't.
If you feel your lab reports have not been marked fairly, contact your lab coordinator. I know it can be intimidating but for both semesters, multiple times, many people had their marks changed due to inconsistencies with TA marking. For the lecture, read the textbook before class, it will help. For tests, create cheat sheets with reactions and examples of each. Pay attention to the class polling questions, some will be on your tests.
