Comments on the course

This is the STUPIDEST course. I can't believe I have to take it to graduate. Not only is it ABSOLUTELY useless, it makes 0 sense. For a course called introduction to logic, you would think it would provide some useful insight on logic, but it does the opposite. I would not take this class again if you paid me 10 grand. Frustrating does not begin to cover it.

Course Content

Imagine how you view logic, right? Then throw that out of the window. This class leaves you more confused than you started. Nothing about it makes sense.

Comments on the professor

She is also useless. Reads off the slides and doesn't explain anything. If you ask "why is that way", the answer will be something like "because look at the logic table".

Advice

This is one hot dumpster fire of a class. Not only do I recommend avoiding it altogether, I am going to reach out to the dean to remove from the curriculum. No one should waste their time, money and energy on something as useless as this class.

Comments on the course

Very easy and straightforward course. Weekly logicola homework, which if you do at the higher difficulties can get you bonus marks on tests. Two tests and an exam. Propositional logic and syllogisms. Similar to the stuff you see for like a week in COMP 1805 if you have to take it. She's probably the best prof to take it with.
