Great class for learning how to write articles, use AP, and interview people.

Having a professor who worked in Journalism so recently and who tailored the course to things that are actually relevant was very helpful. She was smart and knew the material and was very engaging in class.

How to write press releases and recognize formating for news reports.

A little vague. She is an easy grader which is good. But I didn't/ dont feel like I have a good grasp on how to create press releases.

Read the book several times for formating and go to office hours to have her walk you through the formating. Maybe you'll learn it better and be more comfortable than I was with it.
