She is my favorite teacher and I had so much fun in her class, you won't regret it.

Course Content

We listened to the podcast 1619 by the new york times and wrote about it, it was a lot of fun.

Comments on the professor

Offers a crazy amount of extra credit. I had like an extra 50 points.

Advice

Talk to her, super nice and willing to help, she also has a cat named Loop.

Comments on the course

This class was honestly a joke. I showed up every week wondering why I was even there because we never talked about anything of substance. Your entire grade is pretty much based on attendance and one paper that you work on throughout the quarter.

Course Content

As mentioned, the whole class was centered around one paper. You have to pick topics, do an annotated bibliography with your sources, have three drafts, and then turn in everything plus the final paper in portfolio format for the final. My paper was pretty much perfect by draft 2 and we did absolutely nothing in class except listen to my professor ramble, despite attendance being mandatory.

Comments on the professor

Stay away from him -- all he does is rant and we learn nothing of substance during the lectures. He gives alright feedback on assignments and is relatively easy to get in touch with, but he completely wasted my time every day in class.
