He Clearly knows his history and is very well read. Friendly but also comes off as someone who spent years dealing with entitled freshman.

My advice is to stay away from this class if you have more important science classes to take. I'm a history nerd, and took APUSH in high school. That being said, this class took too much of my time when I needed to be studying chem and bio. For anyone pursuing professional health programs/grad school, this class only counts for your cumulative GPA. science GPA is much more important. Do not take this class if you're working on more important science prereqs. It would be better to take this class when you can make it a priority in your schedule. Now as for the class itself, it's certainly interesting and you'll learn pretty much every relevant historical event post civil war era.
