Prof: Mary Barron / Fall 2021

It’s a tough class but there isn’t any easy shortcuts. You will learn a great deal about the human body, which is interesting and helpful for those going into healthcare. Didn’t appreciate how exams did ask about the tiny things, which meant you have to study every detail from the slides if possible EVEN if it wasn’t addressed in class directly.
This course covers the skeletal, integumentary, muscular, and neuro system. The second part of the course in Spring covers the rest.
Pros: enthusiastic about course, likes to joke around, willing to help Cons: doesn’t cover everything required for exams, in later lessons it is clear she is not knowledgable about the topics, will last minute throw some heavy material you will need to study for
Try studying the skeleton and the origin, insertion, and action of muscles during the summer. Especially the muscles which was the toughest, but you can only do that when you know the skeleton bones and locations.
