This course is a useful one. The assignments were very hard, especially if you didn't have much experience with coding.
He was knowledgeable and answered questions on Piazza as soon as he could. However, he was a little condescending at times (not to me since I didn't really interact with him)

The course is not too hard if you have some programming knowledge. Tests are not very hard compared to 228. Start doing homework early and you will be fine.
He is a very cool dude.

the coursework seemed like it was intentionally made to be misleading, but wasn't too difficult other than that.
one of the worst professors I've ever had; he would be extremely condescending and give extremely vague answers that would often create more confusion.
start your assignments as soon as possible.

Overall a fun course. A time commitment is definitely necessary, as well as some commitment to memorizing concepts and syntax of Java.
