Dr. Rios does a good job of making the class relevant especially during COVID. The material covered was pretty basic, and she specifically said that she didn’t want to make us learn more than necessary, because it wasn’t any of our focus as non science majors. You’ll do better if you do more work, but you can get by without.
A lot about human physiological processes (but not in much detail), how diseases enter the body, types of diseases (including COVID)
Good lecturer with interesting accent, didn’t engage with us much personally but most people taking this class weren’t looking for that kind of relationships. I’m sure she would’ve been happy to work with students one on one
