A short, self-paced, course on the legal and ethical responsibilities of professional engineers in Quebec. If you grind at it you can finish the whole course within one or two weeks. Recommend that you finish the course within the first month before the workload of other courses get heavy.
Professionalism: engineering profession, engineering accreditation / rank, professional engineering values, professional responsibility, duties towards the public. Ethics & Equity: code of ethics, duties towards public + client + profession, employment equity, diversity, discrimination. Impact of Engineers on Society and the Environment: sustainable development, sustainable design + Hannover Principles, environmental stewardship, life cycle assessment.
Pretty responsive to the discussion forum. Not a lot of interaction with students.
Finish the course within the first two weeks. Course if pass/fail; your grade rests on the three module quizzes. If you don't pass the quizzes you can ask the professor for more attempts.
