Easy class (if you took PSYCH 1X03 and 1XX3), the lecture content and the textbook content are interchangeable. The textbook often explains things better and has good review questions at the end of each chapter but if you read both the textbook and go to lecture you kind of waste your time, pick one or the other. Very fair marking scheme, consists of 4 quizzes based on 2-3 chapters every other week, 2 non-cumulative midterms, and one final, it's easy to do well on these and the quizzes are reflective of the midterm (during my semester the first midterm was a fluke, the questions were difficult but he curved it because he realized something was wrong). The content is interesting if you're a fan of psych (which I was), overall considering most first year science students take PSYCH 1X03 and ...read more
If you took PSYCH 1X03 and PSYCH 1XX3, this course is a repeat of basically both those courses and only expands slightly on certain topics. Other than that the course covers all the same material and if you did well in both those courses there's no reason why you shouldn't do well in this one!
He's very fair and honestly a decent professor (compared to the other ones I've had but I'm a bio student and we don't have great profs so), if you ever have any concerns don't hesitate to reach out to him.
Personally, I attended lectures over reading the textbook and this is what I'd recommend because sometimes he skips parts in textbook chapters for the sake of time. My friend read the textbook over attending lectures and we both got similar grades in the class (I did a bit better cause I had a lighter semester). He does review questions in class before evaluations and these aren't always a reflection of the way the questions will be formatted, I'd recommend just waiting for the quizzes to see what things will be like.

Well taught and prof was super nice. Also midterms were open book but exam wasn’t. Overall really great and not hard to get a 10 or 11 but you’ll have to work for the 12.
Content was good, it definitely felt like an extension of the intro psych courses.
She’s so so nice, and willing to talk after class. Sometimes the lectures are a bit dry but it definitely got better over the term.
Do the readings before class because she can talk kind of quickly
