Circuits is a hard class. If complex math is not your strength then prepare to struggle. But it does give you very useful skills.

Simple enough at first with Ohm's law and circuit techniques like KVL and KCL, equivalent resistance, voltage division, etc...but it starts to ramp up at end of the semester. We get into transient analysis, three-phase power, z transforms, real complicated stuff with complex numbers. It was a grind. The final was brutally hard.

Prof Aaen made this class so much better. He worked everything out on the board and held weekly help sessions over zoom, and always checked in with us to get student feedback. Amazing guy.

Get the textbook from day 1. I waited until halfway through the semester to decide I needed it and that was a mistake...
