Overall disappointing class. I really didn’t learn much, and most of the work was tedious and unnecessary. Other classmates grade your tests/quizzes, so you end up not taking them seriously.

Biggest things are the final exam and paper. (Do not wait till last minute to do the latter) You also have 6 chapter tests scattered through the semester, as well as various excel homework assignments.

Leinberger is a really nice guy, but a half-ass prof. Lectures inevitably turn into him rambling about whatever personal experience or global political situation slightly relates to the chapter. Constantly acts like everyone in there is a finance major, even though most are other business majors taking the class cause it’s required. While having classmates grade your test/quizzes definitely helps your grade, I personally think it is lazy and irresponsible on his part. He never checks the grades people give, and at this point I think he has to know people are being dishonest about it. I truly believe this is his way of boosting the class average so he flies under the radar of the university. Overall, he really just needs to retire and find something to do that he actually cares about.

Wish I would’ve known how heavy the workload was.
