I thought the class was super interesting. Dr. Venkatesan definitely cares a lot about the topic which showed through her teaching!

It was very discussion based, where we were given material to review and then discuss in class, sometimes in groups or as a whole class. Topics ranged from the role race plays into crime, to the prison & drug systems in the world and their ties to economics.

She's great, very nice and graded really fair! The only con I guess is that since it's discussion based, there were some times where only a few ppl would speak which could be a lil awkward lol

I wish I knew about the daily assignments. They were fine but I have a habit of procrastinating which was a bit challenging
