Probably one of the easier math courses you will take here. It is pretty straightforward, you get to use a calculator on the exams/quizzes (a basic TI, nothing too advanced will be allowed), and you get a formula sheet. The exams are exactly like the practice exams they will provide to you. If you study those and do the homework yourself then you are guaranteed at least a B in this class.
It will be useful, especially for CS majors who will use what they learned here in CS 301 (intro to data science).
Pros: great instructor, understanding, easy going. Cons: quiz almost every week (which are not hard)

The professor said that for a lot of students you either get it or you don't. If you were like me and had dabbled in probability for fun, you will ace this class.
Probability and statistics, that's really the best way to put it.
He's funny and gets class done on time, talks with students about their day and gives examples of silly probability things (like his friend that bet on the SuperBowl coin flip because he thought it was more likely for it to land on heads after it had landed on tails 10 times... nope, still 50/50!).
You need to memorize formulas for quizzes but the exams have exhaustive formula sheets.
