Comments on the course

I took this class during Covid, so it was only in-person twice a week and then asynchronous the rest of the week. It was a fine introductory class given the situation. Very basic environmental science concepts for those who only need it to fill a credit. It was personally more of a refresher class for me.

Course Content

Very basic environmental science concepts, but helpful for foundational knowledge if you're going into a degree within the EEGS department.

Comments on the professor

Adam is a highly respected prof within the EEGS department at NMU and his enthusiasm for environmental and spatial sciences doesn't go unnoticed. He's a great prof that wants to see all his students succeed.

Advice

Go in with an open mind. Personally speaking, I came in with a solid foundational background in the environmental field, but this class definitely helped polish up some concepts that were still a bit rusty to me.
