Comments on the course

It was a good class. I really had no idea how to use a map before and can actually work my way around a map now, which is pretty cool (from an EEGS dept. student perspective). I honestly probably would've taken it even if it wasn't required by my major.

Course Content

It's maps. You get from the class what you take from it. Making attention during lab helps the most, as that's really when you do the bulk of the hands-on learning. Lecture isn't *as* important as lab, but going will sometimes expose you to secret extra credit points sometimes offered on exams.

Comments on the professor

Dr. Zeigler is a great professor. He's soft-spoken, but truly wants to see all his students thrive and succeed in the world of maps. He will sit with you during his office hours to go over things you may have missed in labs and will give you some credit for them as well.

Advice

GO TO LAB OR YOU WILL FAIL.
