The course was very interesting. At this level of the Chinese course track, the class is harder than the preceding class and it does require more studying. In terms of my personal experience, I had a lot of fun with the projects that we presented and with the friends I made in the class.

In the class, we created several projects; one on a Chinese holiday, one on an idiom, and one a Chinese tv show. For this semester, we did not do the TalkAbroad video calls. From the Beginning class to this one, the majority of the tests switched from being in Pinyin to being in Mandarin characters, so there was more difficulty on tests.

The professor was amazing. He is very friendly and patient with students.

The advice I would give is similar to the one I wrote in the review for the Beginning class, in that studying is really important in order to memorize the sentence structure and words.
