Comments on the course

Horrible class. Only class earned less than an A in. Text and information explain nothing and then expect you to produce perfect work. Student feedback is worthless.

Comments on the professor

Seemed dour and unsupportive, condescending.

Comments on the course

Overall, it was a good course but I feel like I spent more time writing replies to discussion posts than I did on projects and other assignments. Prof. Fine required you to write thorough replies in order to receive a complete. The first few weeks sucked because I didn't know just how strict the grading was until a few weeks later when I received incompletes because my replies weren't thorough enough. However, I think this was a good course because it better prepared me for my future career. I learned a lot of useful information such as how to write better resumes, cover letters, memos, and reports.

Course Content

- 5 big individual projects - discussions and workshops every week - reading the textbook - watching videos

Advice

I wish I knew how strict the grading would've been before taking this class so beware! Write thorough replies to your classmates' discussion posts if you want to receive a complete. Also, if you think this is an easy-A class, think again. Prof. Fine WILL make you work super hard for an A.
