This class was the most terrible experience in my entire college career. The semester was jam packed with so many concepts that there was absolutely no time to learn or absorb the content. The course is mostly administered via Aleks, which hardly aligns with the topics that are on the canvas quizzes or homework. Additionally, Aleks’ initial demonstration does not adequately prepare you for the practice questions that follow. The work load is so heavy that almost no one is able to finish it, let alone go back to a topic that you feel requires more review. Please do yourself a favor and find an alternative way to take this class.

College algebra II.

Professor Chopra seemed to understand how unreasonable the course was and allowed plenty of extensions. She was always quick to respond to my emails (I wrote one at 5:30 pm on a Sunday and she responded by 8:30 pm that same evening), and her lectures were always helpful. She always took the time if you asked for it and it was obvious that she has a passion for teaching and helping others succeed. I just wish that the faculty that created the course shared that same passion for her success as she did for us.

I wish that I had known how heavy the workload was. I wish I would have known that there was a remedial session available before the course started.
