Prof: Chih-chun Wang / Spring 2021
Aug 31, 2021
Professor Wang gave us a lot of opportunity and resources needed to succeed in this course. His practice exams are similar to the actual exam. He provided additional help videos for problems students frequently asked on homework and on practice exams. His office hours were very interactive and engaging as well. If you follow the lectures, understand the homework assignments and the practice exam questions you are almost guaranteed an A in the class. In addition, if the average of a midterm is very low, Professor Wang adds about 10% to everyone's score.
The professor is very caring and genuinely wants his students to succeed
Start the homework early and stay on top of lectures

Prof: Chih-chun Wang / Spring 2021

This class has flashes of interesting stuff (AM radio applications, signal processing introduction) but is presented more as a pure math course. The two small Matlab projects were honestly the highlight of the course. Weekly homework was extremely time consuming and exams were punishing, but Prof. Wang was a good lecturer and good guy. Textbook was used, but PDF’s of the necessary sections were provided.
Good lecturer and very nice person, but class structure is unforgiving
Start early on homework
