Amazing course, when I took it 85% of your GPA was determined by the course project, and the rest by homeworks which were straightforward to complete as long as you read the accompanying instructions and examples closely. You received an A on the project as long as you had code that ran (not necessarily producing meaningful output), and a paper demonstrating that you did do a good amount of research and explained your code's strengths and weaknesses.
