Good baseline for Purdue math courses, very easy if you’ve at least been introduced to calculus before. Exams are a bit tricky, but manageable nonetheless. About 2-4 homework’s a week and also weekly quizzes, but that’s what comes with a 5-credit class.
Great professor who explains concepts clearly and understandably. Also tries to interact with student body by having weekly lunches at dining courts to get to know you.
Get ahead on the homework if you can because MyLab allows you to do all the assignments right from the start of the semester.

Don't let your guard down just because its Calc 1 and you'll be fine.

Weed out class, so tough exams. Was hard to grasp calculus concepts, but if you could figure out how to do the problems you would be fine
Didn't like this professor. Didn't explain things well, messy handwriting
Study hard. Just cuz it's calc 1 doesn't mean it's easy or you won't fail. Also, if you can use your AP credit and not have to take this class, take the credit and RUN. Ignore what your advisor says. RUN
