It's a good intro class to take if you are a freshman majoring in actuarial science (like me). Attendance is required and is part of your grade. It also gives you a good understanding of how to use Excel.

It includes the basics of what an actuary studies and does. There is not a lot of outside work to do (only 7 Excel labs and 3 HW assignments).

He is a really good professor and is very funny in class.
