The course was mostly expanding on things I had learned in high school chemistry so it wasn't too tricky. You definitely can't just breeze by and expect to pass, which is why I think so many freshman get upset with the class. You will struggle to find professors as caring and dedicated to your success as Harwood and Towns, especially in lower-level courses.
AMAZING professors. Can't say enough good things about them. Did their best to tie in each major that was required to take the course into what topic we were learning and really wanted their students to succeed. Both professors were super lenient with deadlines and would help students if you asked.
Before you complain and get upset about the workload, take the time to go to office hours or SI sessions and work with someone to understand what you are studying better. Make enough time to get everything done, or you will regret it.

The course was somewhat tough but I enjoyed how the professors had tie ins for how the material was relevant.

Definitely the tougher semester for me, but professors put in a lot of work to make sure I understood the material + no final!
Love love love Harwood and Towns.
Don't be a whiny freshman who is mad they have to actually put in work for the first time in their lives. It's a heavy workload but learning how to balance heavy workloads in an easier class will benefit you down the line when you're taking a super hard class with a heavy workload.

This course really is bringing my GPA down. It may be open note open book but the quizzes are horrible. No final exam but Homework and Quizzes are hard and make no sense.
Nothing, it really wasn't.
change the assignments and quizzes they really do not help
I wish someone would've told me that you have to study lectures in advance for some quizzes or you'll fail.
