You have to buy mastering physics, which came with an etextbook, but I did use the tb once. 55% of your grade consisted of midterm and final, everything else was labs, tutorials and polleverywhere participation. Therefore your grade will be heavily impacted by your ta, which is unfortunate bc they are a hit or miss and you have no way of knowing which way it will go prior to. Exams were very fair and if you prepare you should do well.

The content itself was honestly not very difficult as it was all just high school physics (in fact I'd argue that my gr 12 exam was significantly more difficult). Having said that, if you have never taken physics before then good luck

Tetyana absolutely cannot teach. She explains everything in an overly complicated way and even though I already knew most of the content from hs, I would get incredibly confused whenever I listened to what she said. HOWEVER, you could tell she wanted everyone to do well bc she always let us change our pollev answers to the correct option and she also replaced our midterm marks with the final exam mark if we did better on the final.

Do the sample midterms and finals that they post bc they were very very similar to the real thing. Also do your best on the labs, tutorials, and assignments bc those can really save your grade if the midterm or exam don't go your way.
