This is not what I expected of an undergraduate 400 level course. If I had to do it again, I would have picked another class for my purposes and interests.

Exclusively on Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act and very light touch on Government sole source contracting and more. This was my first class at UAA, but for my purposes, I dont think the juice was worth the squeeze.

She is kind and probably too accommodating for her students. She tends to read every word off of her slides which I found to be quite annoying after a few classes. Regarding my comment on accommodating... she gave many people second and third chances to get their discussion board comments in. Seems lax for a uni senior-level class. She works off of many visuals within her slides, but balances it with entire paragraphs in others.

I did not take BA A202 (ANCSA) but was told that this was a pre-requisite. I felt we spent the entire class repeating ANCSA concepts ad nauseum to the point that I am glad I had not taken A202 as I would have probably judged my time and money here to be a waste.
