The course has a lot of content and many units, you need to set time to study for this class on a weekly basis to be upto date on content. The lab reports were also a rather time consuming part of the course.

The professor was awesome at adapting material to the classes interests and was acommidating on in class assignment dates.

But a botany textbook it was a useful resource for the class.

Dr. Cooke is an excellent professor, and really does care about her students. Bot 205 is pretty heavy in material, but she makes it easily digestible and even adjusted the content based on previous years feedback. The lab portion was done very well for online classes. TAs are great for this course. Assignments, quizzes and final were very fair and accommodating.

Do class and quiz assignments ASAP, as there is a lot of content and you do not want to get behind. Attend the live workshops when you can, they were very helpful.
