A required class for anthropology graduate students - it’s a nice summary of modern cultural anthropology theory. You get to read a lot of interesting books and articles, which can be overwhelming for non-cultural students. Material is really fascinating and it is definitely worth the work.

Lots of material that may not be useful if you aren’t a cultural anthropologist. However, it is worthwhile as it definitely changes your perspective on how you view the world.

Dr. Klaits was clearly knowledgeable of the material. I wish there had been more discussion as that really helped with understanding.

Be prepared to read a lot.
