Decent course, although not a free A like some of the other CE 400-level electives.

Half of it is polymer chemistry (reactions, synthesis etc.) and the other half is polymer physics (solution behavior, conformations, etc.) It's a pretty dense course, you'll learn a lot.

He is difficult to understand sometimes, but his slides are very descriptive. Also he gives off the impression that he hates everyone sometimes but he's actually willing to help out if you need it.

The biggest downside to the course are the ~5 pop quizzes. I'd only take this course if you're interested in the subject. If not, you'll get frustrated.
