chem 233 with Jay was great. He teaches well and gives you what you need to succeed. It got trickier after MT2 because of all the possible reactions you need to consider, but if you do practice problems, organize the reactions, and understand what conditions they occur under you'll be okay.

Hard class. Jay is one of my favourite prof’s and explains the concepts clearly. Until MT1 the class is mostly chem 123 review. After that the different mechanisms are very tricky to understand.
Advice
Go to class. Don’t buy the textbook because we hardly used it. Sapling and the posted practice problems should be enough.
