I learned so much in this course but there are a lot of things you have to participate in. I liked that there weren't many big assignments, and mostly small quizzes/worksheets.

Definitely useful to learn Chinese.

She was a great professor, the only problem was that there are random quizzes that aren't in the syllabus and she only mentions them in the previous class. So if you miss a class you won't know there's a quiz in the next class.

Expect 1 hour of required speaking practice on top of the usual lectures.
