A useful class but very poorly paced. Despite being an introductory class to income tax, all lectures are only read through ONCE. Anything you didn't understand needs to be studied right after class or you're stuck for the entire semester because the topics build on each other. This means there's no proper revision done in class but only in your own time - which seems to be ineffective in teaching. If anyone is left behind in class - it's their fault, and most students are not willing to help or collaborate.
Income Taxation for Canada. The class is useful but extremely poorly paced - it doesn't focus on teaching; only memorizing and spitting out information on paper.
The professor is good; enthusiastic and knowledgeable. However, the pace of the class doesn't do him any justice.
Prepare to a lot of time memorizing and solving questions on your own. This class is usually saved to be done on year 4 or whenever your other courses are not demanding.
