Taught very useful stuff. Notes are all online. For exams they let you use documentation which is more realistic in a work scenario. The assignments did take a long time if you wanted to get full marks. There are preclass videos to watch.
Using Machine learning models
helps on piazza. I don't remember much otherwise.
Watch all of the preclass videos as early as possible to get ahead.

A decent course about the applications of machine learning to categorical and numeric data analysis, and then some brief overview of special cases like computer vision. Mostly worked with python packages. For students more interested in the algorithms behind machine learning 340 is probably better. Overall, not a heavy corseload, and pretty interesting content which I personally found useful in my work. Mike is also a great prof.
Playing around on python helped me a ton to understand the material.
