Overview: this is a wonderful course and perhaps a GPA booster if and only if you are able to keep up with the weekly schedule and find a wonderful TA. Class average was 84% with a class size of ~100 ppl Course structure: weekly readings (25% = 15% reading response + 5%*2 presentations) + term project (65% divided into weekly/biweekly assignments) + participation (10%) Explanation 1: This is a well-designed course with specific topics and expected progress assigned for each week. On average, there are 30 pages of intense hard-to-read readings & 200-400 words reading responses due each week. On top of that, you are expected to show your progress for the term project during your weekly lab meetings.
