Prof: Blaise Ratcliffe / Winter 2021

The teaching team is awesome, but the course is so so dry. That could partly be because of the online format though. If you’re in science, the first exam will be mind blowingly easy. Actually pay attention to the material for the following three exams, though. Basically, if you put in at least some effort you’ll do well. If you put in zero effort you can probably get by by googling everything, but you won’t necessarily do great. Course structure is 4 x 25% non-cumulative exams. Overall I would recommend. It has its moments. It’s fun to learn about conservation strategies and it’s chill which is a huge plus.
At least go to the lectures and take notes. Highlight terms and definitions.
