This was relatively fun! It was super condensed so things flew a little too quickly. Studying and picking up all the things we're supposed to pick up in such a short amount of time was tough.
Lots! Modals, basics, nouns, adjectives, possessives, imperatives, etc. It's a lot to take in and learn in short time. Lots of in-class work boosts understanding. Lots of repetition as well (verbal). Occasional videos also helped.
Dr. Nijdam is smart and kind! She provided us with a pretty strong condensed course that got us working hard but well. It was honestly a pretty good amount of fun. She's flexible with student needs when students experience difficulty. If you're taking the class with her, it'll be a good experience.
I wish I knew just how much is crammed into such little time. Other than that, I honestly think you know what you're getting into.

A really easy course if you have some previous German knowledge. You need to buy the online textbook (Sag Mal) with the code to the homework portal.
It's useful but I'm not a fan of the Culture Today section where we learn things like inclusive words (just because it's not super useful for such a beginner's class)
Good professor, very nice and I enjoy her lectures. She seems pretty lenient about the homework and I like that she has a really specific rubric.
Just work on memorizing the cases/adjective declensions and that's probably the most complicated part of the class.
