I don't think take this course during the covid period is a bad idea, we can use online calculators this term and it is open-book, we don't have to memorize formulas. I really hate integral calculation when I was taking math105 (I got A+ in 105, but I still think integral calculation is very complicated and so much things need to memorize). Online calculators is allowed, which means the only thing we need to do is knowing how to use the materials to solve the question. Midterms are fair. Final is not easy, I got only 54 in final. I regret not stay calm on final. Maybe I can get higher mark if I prepared more and calmed down on final..
Weekly webworks are very good practice material for exams! They cover all the testing knowledge on exam with moderate difficulty, so plz do webworks again before the exam. I never did the past exams, because most of them are before 3 years..

Mixed reviews from many students on the webwork exams, although the multiple attempts allowed silly mistakes to be corrected. Not a ridiculous time commitment required to do well.
Tons of suggested problems on top of the weekly webwork assignments. They are very helpful for preparing for exams as similar questions appear on those tests.

I thought Dylan explained the concepts really well, probably one of my favourite math profs! I know a lot of people hated this course because of the webwork exams. But I didn’t mind them too much. We were allowed to use integral/derivative calculator and graphing calculators etc which I feel like kinda compensated for the terrible webwork format of exams. This is because calculators made it easier to get the right answer as long as you knew what steps you had to take. As well, we had around 1-3 tries for questions. The midterms were pretty straightforward, and had averages in the 70s. The final was pretty difficult, not sure what the average was but I got around 60%. This course requires a lot of time. You should do as many practice problems as you can until it becomes easy to you. Ho...read more
Do practice problems every week, go to lectures and ask questions if you don’t understand a concept.

All exams were on webwork where only your final answer counted. No chance to get partial marks from showing your work.
If you can postpone taking this course while it’s online I would. (Unless they mention a change in test format)

Webwork exams were badly designed. The midterms were okay but the final was absolutely trash.
Don't take this course during the covid pandemic.
