Lots of students say it's easy, but it was not easy for me. I had hard times understanding several concepts.
Do not underestimate the level of difficulty of this course.

Pretty chill course. It's taught at a very introductory level so you really understand what you're doing which is important as it's fairly relevant to many engineering fields. That said it's quite boring and the problems are a computational nightmare. Easy enough but not fun.
The whole course is centered on practice problems. Lectures, homework, tests; they're all just the same type of practice problems so just enough practice and it's a pretty easy A.

Professor Rozali is terrible at conveying information. His lectures will either immediately put you to sleep or confuse you. However, don't let this fool you. PHYS 170 is a very straightforward and easy course.
If you have a good prof, then you won't have to worry about much. If you have one like Rozali then read the textbook. It is very helpful. I found that I didn't have to study much for this course either. A few cram sessions before exam was enough for me to score an A.
