This class being a core business class is extremely useful. It helps prepare students who have not used core Microsoft tools to succeed in further classes. It helped me in my accounting and business analytics lower core classes.

This course focused a lot on the theory of information systems. A lot of big topics which you are expected to know a lot of smaller details about. If you don't study, watch the lecture, and read the book, you are going to definitely struggle. The lab section is relatively easy as he provides almost step by step instructions. The lab exams are a little difficult as less structure is given.

Dave is a very funny guy, and I wish I had the opportunity to take him in person. However, even online he was engaging and entertaining. This is the only class where I didn't have to put the lectures on 2x speed to make them bearable.

In person would be much more interesting, but online, be prepared to watch hours of lecture video.
