Overall a challenging class. The professor is fairly easy to reach out to and responds to emails rather quickly. She connects a lot to Indian historical films demonstrating themes and topics which helps.

A lot of reading!! be sure to keep on top of the readings because she will call on you if you're too silent in in-class discussions. There are no exams, just three 2000 word essays due throughout the semester relating to the readings.
