I did not like this course at all. I don't blame Dr. Bölöni. He seems like a good guy and probably a great researcher. However, he does not have the pedagogy skills to teach this course. He is very monotone. So, you can easily get distracted during the lectures. The course itself is just a copy of the Berkeley one. There are only two homeworks and two tests. That's it. The material is definitely interesting. But, it would be way better if he had his own set of slides and homework created by him. It seems like at UCF we reached our limits. There's no point on having some creativity to create our own content and just use whatever other people is using. I mean I get it. Berkeley's course is amazing. Take Machine Learning with Dr. Fu. Very hard and demanding. But, very rewarding at the end.
