This was a really great class and it was very interesting. Donnelly was a good professor. She does require attendence on days that you do the RAT's but on her application days attendence. If you show up and do practice problems the class should be easy.

Dr. Donnelly uses a flipped-classroom method where she doesn't teach in class and we only do quizzes and mathematical concept reviews in class. Make sure to read the textbook because you will not pass if you don't.
Read the textbook!!!! Take notes!!! Do the EOC questions!!!

I took the online asynchronous version of this class and at first, I was freaked out that it would be like 70% based on tests. The test questions are easy if you study. Donnelly responded well to feedback and allowed us to use our own calculators and plenty of time on our honorlock tests. Honestly couldn't have asked for an easier experience with an online chem class.
Read the textbook. It's painful and boring, but if you manage to digest through those 50 pages, you'll get a high A on each test. Learning activities like DSM are helpful.

Read the textbook as much as possible and do his practice quizzes for each chapter.
READ THE TEXTBOOK!! Didn't watch a single lecture, he can be hard to understand and moves fast. Before any test or quiz read all relevant sections from the textbook. He uses Honorlock for tests which is frustrating but not for quizzes.
