I only needed to learn with the YouTube videos, there was no need to actually take the class.
You learn how to utilize maya. That’s it, it was useful if you were taught correctly or taught yourself.
Awful. Not even a professor, when you ask him questions he either responds late or he gives you a back comment of “just google it.” Only watched zuccerelo videos the entire time.
To not take this class with this professor. Unless you like wasting money, take the class with Theen.

Professor is hard on grading. The projects are not hard but can tske a long time to upload, this caused my last 2 projects to be late a couple of minutes and loose 50% of the grades. I went from an A to a C 78, because of this. Tips, turn in the day before. Professor do not answer emails, hard on grades no consideration.
Don't wsit the last hour to submit projects

Theen is an extremely harsh grader who strictly adheres to the rubric for each assignment. The class itself was all right, you create 3D models for objects in a program called Maya. No, not Blender, the free-to-use modeling software via Steam with tens and tens of tutorial videos on it. The completely unheard-of software called Maya that you have to sign up for with a student id and wait several days to get approved for. Anyway, the projects themselves weren’t too bad. The second-to-last project was pretty intense, but otherwise you’ll be fine as long as you follow the tutorials.
Do the projects well ahead of time and you’ll be fine. They can take much longer than expected.

Took this class online. Relatively easy work, the professor is very specific when grading so tends to grade “unfairly”, taking of a lot of points for the tiniest issues. Also no help given what so ever.
Grades are slow, make sure to do the work in time, and expect little to no response from the professor when asking questions.
