The class wasn’t too bad overall. It is structured so that you work on one big essay over the course and just submit bits at a time. Not too heavy, you get to pick the topic.
It’s good writing practice as you learn how to assess sources and write academically.
Very honest. Hard to get a reply back from though, course was a bit of a mess and disorganized. However her comments were always kind.
Start writing early, before the deadline

Very easy class, just make sure to show up to class and turn in assignments at the right time and you will get an A!
He's funny and asks us questions as he takes attendance.
I didn't turn in my assignments on time which led me to get an A- so make sure you turn everything in on time!

Professor Taylor is very blunt, rude, and sarcastic in her replies (if you're lucky enough to even get a reply). She was my very last choice and I regret taking this class with her. ENC 1101 was much better in comparison. Try taking this class with someone who actually cares about you and the subject.

Easy enough class, basic freshman course. It’s just writing. Nothing more to say, for good or ill.

I loved this class and I hate writing stuff. Prof Wright did a great job of teaching us.

Took this class with Professor Pinkerton and it went pretty well. She provided all the material we read from and was pretty lenient on grading assignments. Zoom lectures are optional but they will help as well as conferences and office hours over zoom. Some assignments had weird deadlines or bad instructions but I expected some hiccups when everything is moved online.
Go to lecture, office hours, and conferences, don’t be afraid to ask for help. I also think it helps to make a friend you can talk to about upcoming assignments and use each other for peer review.
