Although it was very interesting, the course itself is very challenging at first if you don't understand discrete math and linear algebra (he does review it though), but levels off when you start learning the algorithms (it's more computational at this point). Overall, the course is exceptional if you're someone who loves math. He's a fair grader and the only graded assignments are weekly quizzes and 3 tests (including final). Granted, I took this course on Zoom so take the attendance policy with a grain of salt.

Read his textbook and do all of the practice problems and walkthroughs in each chapter. Also, contact him/attend office hours if you're confused about the content; he responds quickly to his emails.
