Professor Hoelle, while always starting off the class with making the whole class laugh out loud with his jokes and humor, focuses a bit too much on his experience in doing research in Brazil: which is interesting, but only in the beginning of the course. Professor Hoelle is NOT a fan of taking pictures of any slides during class (they are available on Gaucho Space), but is overall a decent professor who proposes interesting questions regarding the actually incredible material the class covers (religion, sexuality, politics, environment, social structures, and the list goes on !) .
