Fantastic course with John Park. Took online so the grading metrics may have changed since but this was one of the only courses I took over zoom that I thoroughly enjoyed

Just goes through the history of Asian Migrations to the US and changing patterns of relations between the US and Japan/China/Vietnam/Korea/etc

Can't praise John Park enough. Lectures are very engaging, he has a good albeit dark sense of humor, and the weekly readings he chooses are interesting and can be found digitally. He's incredibly knowledgeable on the subject and very approachable
